I’ve just got back from the ADDISS conference in Liverpool (worst. hotel. ever.) where I learnt lots of stuff and met a bunch of useful and interesting people. I swear it looks better in my head than reading my abridged version.
What I’d missed was the NICE ADHD quality standards which crept in quietly this year – all areas (England and Wales) should have access to an ADHD service. Breath holding optional though it’s just a matter of time.
A new medication has been launched
is a long acting variation on Dexamfetamine.
I know a few people taking it and, so far, results appear pretty positive.
A good year for the ADHD community so far.
